Ransomware : the malware isn't going to stop very soon......

Ransomware you may know about this thing which is a computer malware designed to lock our date until we pay some fee .

you remembered the massive WannaCry attack this year which affects globlly
the cybercriminals paid about millions of dollars to unlock the data of users.

but after that another attack comes and affected dozen of countries there like Russia and America in june researchers says that it was sophisticated virus not a ransomware.

Here is how to be safe???

Cracked software..

Many of us now that the cracked software and oses are come from a third party we don't know who

they are or what the do with the software so I suggest you to pay for the software and buy it genuinly

also you don't recieve update if you're using a cracked software you may know that the WannaCry attack was happened on outdated windows machine.

Don't open untrusted Emails...

Most of us getting spam emails daily spammers can trick you by sending an email that you may like by reading its title but inside an many things can be attached many things.....YES also ransomeware.

Don't use the pendrive you find on the road or anywhere....

Means if you find a pendrive or any other storage device on the road or your home or may be in your bag don't use it if you find it UNCONSCIOUS .

Use a paid and updated antimalware software

If you are using windows or mac there are a ton of antimalware software available in the market I

suggest you to goto the paid version of the antimalware software and update it regularly.

Regularly Backup Data

Regularly backup data in an external hard drive to be safe this is very important to backup your very precious data to stay safe.

connection and now enter your VPN login credentials
you can enable and disable VPN from the network icon
in the system tray.

What I do to enable localhost in windows ..?

Localhost in windows called IIS (internet information Service)
many of us are using windows and may be using the IIS or not
if you haven't any idea to enable localhost follow these steps
to enable.

In Windows, access the Control Panel and click Add or Remove Programs.
In the Add or Remove Programs window, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
Select the Internet Information Services (IIS) and Internet Information Services hostable web core check boxes, click Next, then click Finish.

now simply open any browser and type 127.0.0.1 in the address bar.

Linux...????

For localhost in linux you need to install apache2.
Here's how to install apache2 in different oses.

In Ubuntu

Open terminal (Press Alt+Ctrl+T) and then type sudo apt-get apache2
and start service with
service apache2 start

In CentOS/Redhat

Open terminal and type yum install httpd
and start service with 
service httpd start

open browser and check connection at localhost:80

you can host your local website at /var/www/html

mac OS..????

Enabling localhost in macos is slightly different for each
macos version so please refer to apple's website
